Spartan Tactical Solutions, LLC was formed with a vision and passion to offer superior firearms and tactical training utilizing the most current techniques, tactics, mindset, and procedures to U.S. military, law enforcement agencies, private security, as well as law abiding citizens.

Spartan Tactical Solutions is dedicated to providing clients with the skills and knowledge they can call on if they are met by evil in the battlefield or in life. In a world where you never know what is around the corner, Spartan Tactical Solutions exists to bring you confidence and peace of mind. We believe that, with proper training and a healthy mindset, good will always rise above evil.

Spartan Tactical Solutions, LLC understands first-hand the sacrifices that many have made and continue to make for our freedoms. With that knowledge at hand, we’ve designed courses to address “real-world” scenario-based threats. The reality of responding to threats cannot be demonstrated through a traditional square range mentality. At Spartan Tactical Solutions, we focus on creating a training structure in line with the practical world we live in.

Spartan Tactical Solutions, LLC will allow students access to instructors with over two decades of experience in providing professional firearms and tactical training. While the background of Spartan Tactical Solutions instructors includes first-hand experience in providing security overseas and working in law enforcement/SWAT, students will not feel like they’re in bootcamp with instructors barking commands. These courses are intended to be relaxed, fun, informative and will appeal to a wide range of individuals with any experience level.

Meet Mr. Kent!!!

With more than 26 years of experience in law enforcement, government service, and protective security operations, Mr. Kent brings unparalleled real-world expertise to every course offered through Spartan Tactical Solutions, LLC. His career has been built on serving others, operating in high-risk environments, and delivering professional training rooted in practical application rather than theory.

Throughout his career, Mr. Kent has served in critical roles supporting the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD), U.S. Department of State (DOS), and U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ). His overseas deployments have included multiple assignments in Iraq, Afghanistan, and other locations around the world, where he worked alongside Tier 1 and Tier 2 U.S. military personnel. He has led low-profile protective security teams, supported presidential protective details, and provided security services for government and non-government clients in some of the world's most demanding environments.

In law enforcement, Mr. Kent has served as a region academy Instructor, full-time SWAT supervisor, narcotics unit supervisor, and Task Force Officer (TFO) with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). He currently serves as a peace officer and SWAT operator in a suburb of North Dallas, Texas, allowing him to bring current tactics, evolving best practices, and real-world experience directly into the classroom and onto the range.

Mr. Kent is a TCOLE-certified Instructor, TCOLE Firearms Instructor, ALERRT Level I Instructor, Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE) Instructor, Active Attack Integrated Response (AAIR) Instructor, and Low-Light Instructor. His passion is helping others build confidence, competence, and the mindset necessary to succeed in high-pressure environments.

Whether training first-time firearm owners, experienced civilian shooters, private security professionals, or law enforcement officers, Mr. Kent is committed to helping every student—from beginner to advanced—reach and exceed their personal goals through professional instruction, proven techniques, and a relentless commitment to excellence.
